Welcome!

Hi! My name is Bernardo Aceituno (ברנרדו זייטון).

I am at outgoind PhD Candidate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). I work as a Research Assistant (RA) at the MIT MCube Lab with Prof. Alberto Rodriguez. My research covers the areas of Robotic Manipulation and Artificial Intelligence. I'm especially interested in finding solutions to planning and design problems that leverage physics and geometric information.

Previously, I worked as part of Facebook AI Resaerch (FAIR), where I developed a differentiable pipeline to learn policies for contact-trajectory optimization from 2D videos using implicit models and simulation. During my undergraduate studies, I developed optimization models for legged-robot locomotion under the advice of Prof. G. Fernandez. I also worked on the Dynamic Legged Systems Laboratory (DLS) at the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT), where I developed a mixed-integer optimization planning algorithm for the HyQ quadruped.

In this website you'll some of my bio, relevant links and publications. Enjoy!
